Information Sites like Wikipedia
Wikipedia is useful you can expand your knowledge with the information you have and share with others also there are many sites where you can look for things that you want to know and you will see someone will have found the answer that you are looking for.
Wikipedia can have false information sometimes, just like other sites and most people intend to copy the information and say its theirs and that can get you a fail in school because it will mean you haven't thought of anything and done anything.

Search Websites like Google
their are-many search engines like msn search, yahoo search, Google, Bing, ask Jeeves and more but my Favorite is Google because it can search websites more faster and when i mean that i mean i can find all the things i want and i trust most but that's my opinion. Whats yours?
Most of the times half the website you look for can either be a scam or fake which will just waste your time or make you lose money like if you enter your details in a fake website so if i was you i would search the website that i dont trust and see other peoples opinions and if all looks good then why not try it.

IM Programs like Msn Messenger
messengers are useful to communicate not only here but worldwide to and it dosen't matter if you have msn and your friend has yahoo because you will still be able to communicate also you can keep track with your emails because you can log in to your messenger and when you get a message you will get an popup, you can set your email up on phone is well.
negative things about messengers like msn is you can meet strangers, you will feel uncomfortable if they keep telling you to meet up because you wont know much about the person, useless spams can come to your email and some of them can get your pc hacked and controlled by another person

Social Networking websites like Facebook
Websites like Facebook is useful to communicate and make new friends also upload pictures or promote something by talking about it. you can also talk about how your day was or what your up to and even what your thinking so then people can see and comment back.

Music is very popular every one has different tastes in music but every where you go you will see and hear people listening to music. you can convert an mp3 file and make it smaller. its easy to buy and download also it doesn't cost much usually its under a pound or less. music videos get millions of hits on you tube.
Negativity about mp3 music is when you convert certain types of files the sound quality reduces which means it wont sound nice. many people download their mp3 the illegal way which is bad but most people cant help it they just do it because its free..

net book computers are fast for browsing, working, playing music, pictures and watching movies, its also slim and very light. you can store your work from school or work into your net book and finish it at your own time during the day.
net books can break quickly and you cant do many things on it as you can on a laptop or computer because its limited so that means you wont be able to put certain software like Photoshop. net books can often be slow due to the amount of space you take up on it because there isn't enough space.

Laptops are like computers but not as powerful as them, its portable which means you can carry it anywhere and use it. you can take it outside and connect wirelessly depends if your allowed to.you wont have to be in the same place to use your laptop because its portable which means you can carry it and move around.
the battery can die real quick depends what you do on it and how long you use it also laptops are hard to upgrade by yourself and when it gets damaged you have to spend quite alot to replace the part and fit it in by taking it to the shop.

Smart Phones are improving they are not like others because they went from being fat to slim and easy to carry in your pocket. it has many features like browsing, playing powerful games like dead space 2, watching movies, playing musci, taking images and making videos etc...
Smart Phone can break easily because they are slim so you have to make sure you look after your phone other wise it can get damaged and to replace a part it costs alot also you can lose it by accident, either at a certain place or in the bus

Also, you cannot try on clothes prior to purchases because there are no tangible products in front of you. Many stores have a presence on social media sites.

Email is useful for talking to friends in far away place especially people around the world. You can attach files. email is useful for storing things online for example: your C.V and other work documents so if you dont have usb with you then jus log in to your email and it will be there.
Negative side is spams they waste your time useless adverts and sometimes people fall for fake messages like filling in bank details. emailing online can be sometimes risky because you meet strangers that you shouldn't be communicating with.
